This is a great piece! It's fake wood (MDF), but very aesthetically pleasing nonetheless. Looks great with matte black faucets. I like the single hole. My dad and I put it together. Two people helped the process. I love the cane front and also that the cane is on top of the fake wood, rather than just cane which would be too weak and prone to get damaged. The brass knobs are nice. The first vanity arrived damaged, but Wayfair / Swiss Madison sent a replacement pretty quickly, so no problem there really. Happy with this purchase!

I bought this piece for $758.33 (this includes tax) on way-day. I thought I was getting a steal but the vanity is still around that price now, 2 weeks later. Its a very trendy and pretty vanity, but in one of the first pictures you can see where there was some cracking already in the face of the wood. We also show a piece on our vanity where "wood" just chipped off after we put in a piece per instructions. The pictures online make it look more walnutty than it Is, its definitely a lighter/ashier brown. My fiance built this and he is extremely talented with carpentry and handy-man stuff. It took him ~4 hours to build this piece. We used wood glue as suggested and caulked the vanity top to the top of the vanity but as you can see in pictures theres this weird lip of space where the top hangs over the vanity and our caulk therefore couldnt quite seal correctly there. Could be a cause for concern on durability. The piece is made out of that manufacted wood that crumbles but we could still drill a hole through the center to configure our plumbing to allow for 2 sinks, as you can see in a picture. The vanity will do but you know, for $750 that is "supposed" to actually cost $1000, I was really thinking this piece was going to be high quality.
