I haven't installed the base yet but I can say that I'm very pleased with it. It's very sturdy despite being lightweight, and the finish is flawless. My shower currently has a tiled base and I'm eager to get rid of it and put down this easy care one-piece base. I like the higher threshold too, it will work well with the black faux marble base tiles that I will have going around the room.
