I’m sorry to say I’m not too crazy about the nonslip black stair tread tape because you have to stick it down to your floor and to the rug. When you are ready to pick them up so you can clean them or wash them you have to struggle with getting them up then there is a sticky residue left, which has to be cleaned or he will be stepping in it and then it will hold the rugs like it did before you had to get them up to clean them. I much rather use the nonslip padding that you can get to go under them that is what I did and they stay in place perfectly without the mess.
