The backer was dry rotted and can’t be installed properly!!

The tile is beautiful. I love it. I haven't installed it yet, and I know I will have to be careful as some of the pieces (may 1-2 on each square) is loose. A few have fallen off while I was setting up to see them in place. No big deal for me, but it might bother someone. What I love the best is the color and variance in the stone. It's just gorgeous.

The quality of this slate tile was very good. The individual pieces were uniform. However the color was not what I expected and was hoping for, so I will send it back. You cannot buy a sample of this slate, you must by a whole case. So I have to pay to send it back

Nice deep colour, almost like jade. Very pretty. The thickness of each tile varies a lot and they're not attached well to the backing, so installation is a little more work. They look great once installed.
