Works as expected. Good price.

This is a lightweight log carrier supported by two poles that slide in at each end. The square canvas itself is 15" wide by 28" long, not including the handles. This is small by firewood standards, and will do well if your younger son or daughter are helping you carry wood; but it would require at least twice as many trips compared to a standard 36-40" wood carrier for an adult. The handles seem to be well attached, but do not wrap around the canvas (and wood) which is not a strong design - but the loads this carrier can fit will be small enough that that probably won't be a problem. Two 15" tubes are included and slide into each end of the square, and this adds a lot of stability to the carrier when you use it - very helpful! However, when the tubes aren't under tension (as in, carrying wood), they easily slide out and jangle to the floor. I wonder if it would change the price point much to sew one end of the pocket closed and add a velcro flap to the other, "capturing" the bar in the canvas tube. Overall, a nice little carrier for light loads, just not quite big enough for us.

Exactly what I needed

I have an old log rack and have no idea the manufacturer and ordered this on a whim. I'm not entirely sure if this is a universally sized component, but it turns out it works great with my existing log rack. I am thrilled.
