We've been using these on historic, interior 6-panel doors that are too thin to take a normal door handle and interior latch. They look great.

This latch is perfect for our 1817 home. we needed something that would keep the door shut but allow us to open it on either side and this does the trick.

Not usable. It’s pretty, but with no instructions it was useless. rusted outside in a week

This thumb latch is absolutely beautiful. We installed two of them this weekend. My only critique is that four of the screws sent to attach part of the latch are nearly impossible to install. But we stuck with it and got them in and they look so good!!

I purchased this product which comes from Renovator’s Old Mill. This Suffolk Iron Heart Thumb Latch matched the hardware on my custom patio gate. The quality of the iron mold was poor in that it’s parts did not fit and function together without spending an hour with a metal file to make the parts fit and move properly. Also the product does not come with any installation instructions.
