These doors are very difficult to work with. My very highly rated and experienced painter has had a horrible experience painting these doors with Emerald Urethane Trim Enamel by Sherwin Williams. The seams and the MDF "exposed ends" are absorbing the moisture in the paint and swelling of the doors and an inconsistent look to the finished painted door. The combination of an Enamel with the MDF has caused him to return to my house 4 times to figure out how to improve the finish. He is currently removing the doors, sanding them down (not releasing the fibers from the MDF) and repainting them again.

Excellent solid wood door. We have ordered many doors for our house and this one came the most well padded out of any of them. We have had doors arrive without even plastic wrapping them but thankfully his was not the case. The door was in pretty good condition. Not perfect but no major blemishes. I painted the door white. You can see the primer color for reference. It was more of a cream.

Beautiful door. There were a few dings and patchwork though, which is why I gave 4 stars. I was able to lightly sand it and paint to cover it up. Very happy with the look and delivery.
