Some of the parts (mainly the dowels) were not fitting well. I found this difficult and annoying to put together. I do love the look, but for the tedious assembly and price point, I felt it was too much work and paid too much. Some pieces were chipping off as well.

I love the overall look of this piece, but I’ve never experienced such a poor setup process. I’ve assembled dozens of pieces of furniture over the years, and this is by far the most frustrating one I’ve dealt with. It was nearly impossible to get everything to fit properly. The main connection pieces were cheap plastic and didn’t actually screw in — they had to be pushed in, despite being designed as screws. This threw the entire assembly off and ultimately caused a hole to pop through the top. The damage looks terrible and can’t be fixed. Overall, I’m extremely disappointed with this purchase.
