Victorian 48.5'' L x 24.5'' W Tin Glue Up Ceiling Tile In Shiny Silver

We got this for a backsplash in our kitchen. It looks Amazing. It's like a whole new room

Even thought they say glue up - I am not too sure if glue would actually keep them up - they are made of tin and have some weight to them (as opposed to the plastic ones). I had already decided that I wanted to screw them up with self tapping 6x12 screws in order to be able to access pipes if needed. I had 1”x3”cross pieces that ran perpendicular to my ceiling joists, so it was easy to screw them up to the cross pieces. I had reached out to to the company and they noted that you should brad nail them up. Really important to note that the pieces overlap about 12” so you will need to figure out how you want to overlap. I would highly recommend overlapping away from the way you look into the room - if you don’t, you will notice gaps. The order was simple to place however shipping came in two separate deliveries a few days apart. WEAR GLOVES - as the edges are sharp. I was able to cut the tin with a pair of heavy duty scissors as I didn’t have tin snips. I do not plan on painting as I love the shiny silver ceiling in my gym.

As expected

This is the second or third time I have utilized this same product in remodeling applications. I place the tin at ceiling locations. For example: on ceiling of a Pantry Room that is 8Ft X 10Ft. adjacent to two black barn doors; at the alcove above a gallery kitchen; and for a 10inch backsplash along kitchen counter AND behind the gas range cooktop. Earliest application was 2014 and most recent is 2019. Every application holding up quite well.
