Does not fit my barn door, too wide

Im still trying to make this work for my door. I thought all barn doors were the same, standards thickness. Not mine I guess, it’s a little thinner so this pull is about a quarter inch too big. I love it’s simpleness though so I’m going to cut the post and hopefully retread it.

Great barn door pulls for our situation. Since the doors are in a high traffic area, we did not want them to stick out for people to bump or get caught on. These work perfectly and look nice and clean!

I like the look of these handles but now wish they were longer in length to not result in regular fingerprint contact with the doors daily.
