This bathtub drain stopper definitely holds the water! It’s a little tricky to release. You have to press right on the spot where “OPEN” is engraved, not just press the middle or the whole stopper. It works well.

I bought these so long ago I honestly forgot I even had them, but they ended up being a really nice upgrade from the basic chrome set I had before. The black finish looks much cleaner and more modern, and everything fit perfectly without any issues during installation. Small detail, but it really elevated the overall look of the tub area. Definitely happy with this purchase.

We had our bathroom remodeled two years ago and the drain housing rim appeared to deteriorate. See attached photo. Since I originally purchased the tub parts from Wayfair, I was able to find a replacement part. Install was easily done with the right tool. Perhaps the hardest part of this repair was removing the damaged drain housing, but nothing a good breaker bar with the drain wrench couldn't handle. Hopefully the replaced part will last longer than 2 years.

Installed well without difficulty

Bought this bathroom drain set in Black and it looks gorgeous in our new bathroom. a really nice touch to add to the old bathtub.
