I ordered this outdoor misting fan from tried and true. It is really big and the airflow is nice. It's really heavy so it has to be mounted in something sturdy. The water tank is also a good size. The instructions were pretty straight forward so maybe they've updated them since other reviews. Haven't figured out where to mount it yet but did plug it in to try it out.

Great misting fan, but prepare for a few educated guesses with instructions ! This misting fan is absolutely huge and works incredibly well once put together, but the setup has some challenges. The assembly instructions are very vague and leave a lot to be desired. It’s also quite heavy, so I’m definitely getting it professionally installed to hang it safely. On top of that, the packaging was a bit bizarre—part of it came wrapped in Grinch holiday paper! Overall, it’s a powerful, high-quality fan that does the job, just be prepared for a slightly tricky install.

This outdoor weatherproof oscillating misting fan is huge. It definitely has to be mounted. See 2nd photo for mounting bracket. We haven't mounted it yet. We are still deciding where to put it. It is quite a bit larger than I even expected. It is of good quality and the water tank is large as well to hold several gallons of water. I know this will help keep us cool outside in these summer months.

If the review were based solely on assembly I would have given this one star out of five. The directions are pretty worthless considering how they picture an entirely different tank set up. I did a lot of guesswork to figure out where to attach the different hoses and everything else. The directions don’t label anything. Most of the fan hardware is already in place and has to be removed and then replaced to attach the fan screens. The one with the larger hole goes on the front with the mist unit and the smaller hole lines up with the fan motor. The whole process takes a lot of logical guessing. The waterlines are also a puzzle since the directions don’t address them. The blue line is what drips back into the tank the clear delivers water from the tank to the mist unit. The lines inside the tank cover - one goes to the pump and the other connects to the clear line. Anyway I eventually figured it out, plugged in and tested it out- I haven’t mounted it yet. It works very well. It’s powerful and heavy duty misting fan. Manual oscillation by moving wall mount arm. Assuming the wall mounting presents no issues I am happy with the results.
