I was expecting a powerful artificial wind, but it did not deliver one. Although still a good way to enhance cooling when used in conjunction with other fans. It has only three speeds, and the highest level lacks some force to better support the name of "high". It comes with a remote but does not include batteries. This fan is quieter and shorter than a tower fan, too.

Great fan and cool, it is super quiet and ready to go right out of the box. I get plenty of air movement on low, but on high it can feel like it’s going to blow you away. The only small negative is the remote control. You have to be sure to point it right at the menu on the front. The menu screen is kinda low so it’s a little annoying to have to point it down and be somewhat close to it. The fan is awesome!
