This doesn’t fit on my tub! So I got this for my mom to get in and out of the tub when she takes a bath since she already has a chair for the shower but that hasn’t felt stable enough to actually help her get in and out of the tub from a starting laying position. However, I guess I could have done my preliminary research a bit better- since my tub also has like a border of tile and everything, it’s too thick and the width of the opening for the bar doesn’t go far out enough so I haven’t been able to actually use this. It’s the only tub in my house of two and a half bathrooms so I guess I can try to save it for when we have a bathroom with a freestanding tub for my mom.

This was an amazing find on Wayfair. This grab bar is easy to assemble and install. I am able to take it off of the tub easily as well when my aging family member is away. It works as a grab bar for the tub and toilet in my small bathroom. It can bear my weight without moving. It is functional, but doesn’t overwhelm the aesthetic of the bathroom. I love that it came in blue which matched my bathroom nicely.

Received the order before the estimated time. Instructions are very easy to follow. The packaging was great and easy to put together works great. The bar can be adjusted and can be grabbed in different angles.

The bathtub grab bar, is great for many reasons. I decided to review this product for my mom, who is dealing with pain and and it is very hard for her to get in and out of the of the tub! It was very sturdy and helped her balance her body to get into the tub. Once in she hold on to the bar until she can slowly go down to a sit position! The grab bar is tightly attached to tub side!! My mom and I are so happy that she can safely use this prosuct! Than you tried and true! Trisha

I got the bathtub grab bar as an added layer of security. If youre getting up there in age like me, it doesnt hurt to be a little more careful when getting in and out of the tub. Its very sturdy. Its easy to unscrew, so it doesnt have to be visible when you do have guest over. I kind of just slide it down behind the curtain. I like that it has an extra tray for a soap, but I dont use it on there because I dont want to cause it to be slippery.
