As a former contractor, and now a devoted DIYer, installing this thing was one of the hardest things I've EVER done. I discovered that without jackhammering the foundation, I was going to have to get really creative to attach the drain. Could have done a better job on my part gathering intel before ordering the center drain tub, but two years after installation, the "flexible PVC pipe" (not a "flex pipe") was a lifesaver. It's a beautiful piece of furniture and the wife loves her baths. It's oversized to allow her to stretch out and easy to keep clean. The drain originally lost its "o ring" and the company promptly sent a total drain replacement. Very nice folks. Love the tub! Highly recommend.
