Works great with HomeKit.

When away from the house, app works sparingly as the lock drops wifi connection. It is not a signal strength issue as it is a new house with high speed connectivity and nearly line of site to the wifi adapter. A month later and I'm still waiting for my front door handle.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Yale smartlock works flawlessly once you get past the the tricky install on an older door. Assuming my door might be original (1958) this was a little more time consuming than I expected. Had to dremel out the strike plate trim a little to make room for the slightly larger deadbolt. Make sure you read the directions especially if you have the smart sense feature this must be installed prior to installing the batteries as it can cause damage to the unit. Once I got everything installed and tweaked it works flawless. The app is really issue to use as well as inviting other family members to participate in the program. Installation took about 2 1/2 hours including throughly reading the instructions and the adjustments I had to make. Also due to my house being old I had to drill a 5/8” hole above the trim strike plate to allow the door sense sensor to sit flush as my trim wouldn’t allow for the sensor to be installed with the screw on housing. All in all I love it!

It’s a great lock. The installation is pretty straightforward. The video they provide from the app is excellent and the lock itself is actually a really quality lock. I’m very happy with it and I’m happy. I decided to use Yale.

Been using for 3 weeks - works great, looks great, easy install. Battery life still at 100% - just don't pinch the wire when installing per the instructions. Purchased buttons, keyed, Wifi options - highly recommend!

I purchased a Yale Assure Lock 2 with keypad / key, and had it installed yesterday (11/29). This product worked for about 12 hours, however this morning (11/30) I am having issues. When I tried to lock the lock from the outside by pressing the Yale button, the lock would not respond. I tried to input my entry code, and it would not work either. However, the lock began making a loud beeping noise that would not stop. I am still able to lock and unlock the door with the Yale app, as well as physically from the inside, but the keypad does not work. I have tried to change the batteries but this does not work either. This is a bad product and I am upset I spend hundreds of dollars on it.
