Beautiful fireplace for an electric. Realistic flames have a setting that allow the embers to glow dim and get brighter. Also when you turn the fireplace off the embers gradually dim like a real fire dies down. As others have mentioned the remote from a tv or apple tv does disrupt the settings on the fireplace if you point it at a certain angle, so you will need to unplug it or reset the breaker in order for all the different functions on the fireplace to be operational again. It will still turn on and off and the temperature settings will work but the other flame and light settings will not. The same is true if the power goes out in your neighborhood. The thermostat works very well and is a nice feature. It went together very easily once we had everything out and organized. A suggestion is to not tighten everything down until the mitres are all aligned properly then tighten them all down. We did have some issues with damaged paint surfaces on the mantle pieces, however Wayfair made it right in a timely manner so we have no complaints with Wayfair. . So incredibly pleased with this purchase. This was the piece that just made the room. Easy to put together and even easier to use. The heater works amazing, but the fan does make some noise (pretty minimal). We added a little reinforcement to the mantelpiece because our TV is somewhat heavy. We don’t have this fireplace installed yet as surround is being built. It arrived without any problems. We have plugged it in and it all works well and looks very nice. Me and my daughter and our cats we love this Electric Stove so much it's so pretty and good quality ❤ the only issue that they delivered to the wrong address and the people who received by mistake call me to come and pick up the box !!so I had to go by taxi and bring it back to my house ! And I contacted the customer service they toldmeto wait 5 business day and the next day the man call me and say that he also try to call Fedex and was very complicated to reach them as well as I'm trying to call them and to complaint regarding what happened !and then he call me and was very gentleman so !please FedEx for next time give us our shipment to the right address pls like for me I don't have a car and was too hard to go and solve the problem and the box was heavy I don't believe it's 13 kg I pretty sure it's way more, anyway mistake it's happened but regarding this product it's so beautiful and I recommend for you guys!. The fireplace is really nice. It’s easy to install but instructions aren’t good. You have to take the glass off to put the rocks in but never says how, you just lift it off, wasn’t hard to figure out but when you don’t want to break it, it would be nice to say to lift the glass off so you know for sure. Pictures don’t do it justice. There are lots of colour combinations to choose from and settings for flame speed and automatic shut off which is great. It does heat, I haven’t left it on to long to see how well but it seems like it heats ok. I also took a picture of how far off the wall it comes (if you just hang it) also it’s not noisy, (when the heats on) you can hear it when everything’s perfectly quiet but generally the noise isn’t noticeable.
