These waterproof tiles have been a great purchase! We needed waterproof ceiling tiles and were not able to find them locally at the hardware stores. These are installed in a drop ceiling covering the ac unit to our unit. These tiles have been sturdy and held up to moving frequently to access the A/C unit for repairs and filter changes. Tiles are 2'X2' in size (23 3/4" X 23 3/4", a pack of 10 will cover 40 sq.ft.) and can be glued directly to the plain smooth surface (like drywall or plywood) with Styro Pro Adhesive or solvent based Contact Cement ( DAP or LePage), overlapping tiles edges for virtually seamless installation. Our plastic ceiling tiles are EASY TO CUT with regular scissors. These tiles can also be installed into the existing 2x2 grid system. Tiles are self-supportive.
