Got it for my moms apartment. It works great. Definitely for a small area. It blows out cool air right away. I would make sure to clean and keep up on cleaning the water tank and the rest of the unit. It starts getting worse after a week. It does the job and it is easy to move around because of the wheels. I have tried many evaporative coolers and this is one of the best. It's very well designed and decreases the temperature of the flowing air by 3-4 degrees just by adding the tap water. It has one of the biggest water curtains I have seen in the fans designed for home. But unfortunately, it doesn't work for me because I live in a humid climate and these evaporative coolers add to the humidity and make the hot days more humid.
