This is a beautiful piece overall. I love the height of the stand and the size of the electric fireplace. The faux-marble top isn’t shiny-it has a flat, durable look that seems like it’ll hold up much better than those glossy plastic-coated ones that scratch easily. The stand itself is a true white (not creamy or warm at all).
My biggest disappointment is the trim (not the legs so much). They’re a very shiny yellow gold that looks different from the photos in the listing. After removing the protective film, I noticed some embedded lines and even a bit of peeling on the gold finish. That’s the main reason I took off a star. The cabinet handles are also gold, but they’re made from a sturdier metal-I really wish the trim had been made from the same material.
Assembly was a bit challenging and took us about 2.5 hours. The instruction images aren’t very clear, and one step is missing entirely-on part 26, they don’t show how the hardware piece “A” is supposed to fit into the board so please keep that in mind when assembling. Also, be sure to follow the fireplace’s separate instructions first. You’ll need to attach the black metal frames that come in the fireplace box before installing it into the stand. The trickiest part is lining up tiny screws inside a narrow opening using the long skinny screwdriver they provide-it doesn’t have a strong magnetic tip, so the screws kept falling while we tried to get three to screw in on each side. That alone took around over 30 minutes.
During assembly, I thought the outer side shelves would end up exposed with visible screws, but they’re actually structural only. They get covered by flexible fluted panels that velcro into place, making those side shelves essentially inaccessible -unless you want to peel off the velcro panels and hide things in those corners :D
The cabinets are soft-close and offer two small storage sections each, though some screws are visible on the inside. There’s also a slim space above the fireplace for extra storage.
The fireplace itself has one main color (amber) with five brightness levels and both still and moving flame options. The “logs” look surprisingly realistic with the amber glow. The controls are on the upper right panel with settings for heat, brightness, flame, and a timer. The remote includes all the same functions plus a child-lock feature (hold for 8 seconds), which keeps little ones from changing the settings on either the unit or the remote.
Overall, it’s a beautiful stand and fireplace combo that adds great ambiance and keeps a small room nicely warm.. Missy. Windermere, FL. Sat Dec 06 2025
