needed a floating vanity for bathroom remodel and this one worked as had perfect dimensions. We have to have to modify the interior shelves/drawer to fit the piping but it wasn't a problem as its for a guest bathroom. Picture shows drawers on left side. Arrived with doors on right side so had to cut half inch off of right side of drawer. Now I find a hairline crack in the sink after installation of the countertop which is attached to the vanity with an adhesive. I am concerned about removing the countertop without damaging the vanity. What would you suggest? You agreed yesterday to ship a new countertop with the sink installed. Please reply. Based on the reviews, we knew that the assembly instructions would be lacking for quality, so we went into this with an open mind. The box that the vanity shipped in was pretty beat up when we received it, and there was some minor damage where the plywood un-laminated in one inside area. We were able to fix this with wood glue. We also used the wood glue in all of the joints to shore it up. It was missing pilot holes for some of the screws, but the wood is so soft that we had no problem with the screws going in. That being said, the wood is sturdy plywood, and the finish (blue) on the outside is nice and smooth. One complaint that we had is that the toe kick is longer than the width of the vanity, and it's long edges are unfinished, so they stick out a little bit. I'm sure no one will notice but it irked us a little. Also we tried to adjust the alignment of the drawers and we were not successful in getting the drawers where we wanted them. It took my husband and I about one hour to assemble this vanity, using glue, and power tools. We're very happy overall with how it looks and can't wait to put it in our new guest bath!. Mary. IL. We have just installed the Solana vanity on a bath remodel project for a client and are just waiting for the new countertop to be installed but I wanted to share how happy I am with this vanity. It was delivered on a palette and was very well packed. They were able to place the crate right into the garage for us until the project was ready. The vanity is completely assembled other than needing to put on the handles that are packaged separately to minimize damage I am sure. The finish is a beautiful weathered fir and looks just like the pictures online, even better actually. The cane on the door fronts adds a nice bit of texture and looks great in this beachside home.
