I'm overall happy with the cooling power of the fan though you definitely get what you pay for here. The paper filter definitely has a wet paper smell during the first use but that goes away. I added some essential oil to the water and now it smells great every time. Overall it's functional and easy to use, clean, and store when you don't need it. Only true downside, it isn't as quiet on the whisper low setting as I was expecting. It's not terrible, but it is noticeable if it's as closely by you as instructed for optimal cooling.. Bridget. It's not nearly as cool as an air conditioner but it's better than hot dry air blowing when it's too warm out. It comes with 4 ice packs so you can use two and have two in the freezer to switch out. The fan looks really nice and doesn't take up a large footprint. It has given me the ability to put off using the air conditioner a bit. This outdoor weatherproof oscillating misting fan is huge. It definitely has to be mounted. See 2nd photo for mounting bracket. We haven't mounted it yet. We are still deciding where to put it. It is quite a bit larger than I even expected. It is of good quality and the water tank is large as well to hold several gallons of water. This is a fan AND a light. Not sure how I missed that! Remote works great. The LED light adjusts from dim to VERY bright. Would work well for influencers’ back lighting. The fan is spectacular.
