I love this lock. The only confusing part for me was how to connect to my Alexa system since I have a zigbee hub built in. I was first directed to use the Yale app which wouldn't work or detect my lock, there were no QR codes or serial codes on my packaging that would register. I then had to figure out on my own to add the device directly to my Alexa app as a generic lock for it to work. I got the Bluetooth and WiFi one. I love it, I don’t have to worry about keys or trying to remember if the door is locked. Also, through the app, it tells me when the door opens, closes, remains open, and who opened it. Not super hard to set up, but the instructions aren’t that clear either. The lock was the easiest. The handle, a little harder because I needed to add an extra hole to the door (Using a drill). Honestly, I would just get the lock because the handle doesn’t provide any security (doesn’t lock/unlock), but it does look nice.. Anonymous. Fri Mar 20 2026

If you’re not super techy or into configurations of small things, this will probably be a nightmare to install. I had a bit of help and it took some time to figure out how to remove the old handle and install this. YouTube videos help a lot. The quality on this is great though.
