It is a versatile piece of furniture. I had some trouble putting it together, but eventually I got it done! If you are going to use it for toilet paper it only holds 3 rolls. And the shelfs are fixed. But it shows a handy little tissue box opening on the side. I am using it for a handle if I need to reposition the unit. A square tissue box in a holder fits perfectly on top of it. WARNING: One thing to be aware of is the magnet. It is strong and if you try to open the door without securing the cabinet with the provided hardware, it will fall forward. I just told it steady with my hand. There is probably a workaround, but I didn't bother to research it. The color is white but not toilet bowl white. Mine is not sitting close to the toilet, so you can't tell. It's subtle. When you put a new roll on the roller, the roll hangs down about ¾” because the core of the roll is bigger than the roller. That means that it usually drags on the bottom of the holder until you use some. We raise our rollers to account for that larger core. So even new rolls won’t drag. And our holders are 7” high inside – big enough to handle any roll on the market today – even the huge Charmin Mega rolls and Costco rolls – with room to spare! Will use ANY size roll on the market including double, mega, and jumbo rolls! Includes white plastic spring-loaded toilet paper roller, and space for a spare roll (not on a roller). The cabinet door opens to reveal a storage cubby for personal wipes, fragrances, or other items. Installation could not be easier! Just cut the opening in the drywall and use construction adhesive on the back side of the frame and push it into the wall.

We love this lavatory accessory. It’s incredibly well made with exquisite workmanship and quality materials! It was a bit of a chore to paint it (with a semi-gloss brilliant white paint - needed a small, narrow roller to avoid brush strokes) but the end result was worth the painting chore hassles. It installed flawlessly. Looks wonderful and adds a lot of functionality to a simple common room (our lavatory). I hadn't thought about using the Jumbo rolls in a recessed TP holder, but when I saw this in the description and also that the wood could be stained to closely match the wood in the bathroom. Handcrafted by artisans right here in Sarasota, Fl. Why is it that recessed in the wall toilet paper holders don’t actually recess? It’s because of how they are made. Our unique recessed toilet paper holders fully recess into the wall with only the frame on the outside, which serves to cover up the rough edges of your wall opening. Additionally, we are the only manufacturer to raise the roller. Why is this important? When you put a new roll on the roller, the roll hangs down about ¾” because the core of the roll is bigger than the roller. That means that it usually drags on the bottom of the holder until you use some. We raise our rollers to account for that larger core. So even new rolls won’t drag. And our holders are big enough to handle any roll on the market today – even the huge Charmin mega rolls and Costco rolls – with room to spare!
