Adjustable This handle set fits both new doors and pre-drilled old ones. The upper distance of two holes must be 5-1/2 IN while the lower one is adjustable to fit different doors---214mm(8.425IN), 230mm(9.055IN), and 245mm(9.646IN). Adjustable Backset: 60mm (2-3/8") to 70mm (2-3/4"). Fits for door thickness: 35mm or 45mm (1-3/8" or 1-3/4").

Oh my gosh, this handleset is beautiful and was easy to install ourselves. Clear instructions and now, my family member who is disabled can open the door with no problem.
