Overall I'm satisfied with this sink given the price point. My main reason for upgrading was to accommodate a new single-hole tap, as my old sink had a three-hole configuration. The trade-off is that the stainless steel is noticeably thinner gauge than my previous sink, which has me a little concerned about durability — particularly the potential for denting with regular use. Just because it’s easy doesn’t make a job well done any less special. The drop-in Jackson Fireclay kitchen sink offers an easy DIY installation with high-end beauty. But it also offers function: The large single bowl ensures maximum workspace for cleaning bulky or oversized dishes. Our ultra-durable and dense fireclay is fired up to 2100° F and protected with our proprietary finish that safeguards and adds strength.

An attractive sink at a good price. This is a fireclay sink, which means it is fired at a lower temperature than a porcelain sink, but at a higher temperature than a ceramic sink. Higher temps increase hardness and durability. This becomes apparent as this sink will stain if left soiled overnight, unlike a porcelain sink which you can rinse and wipe clean. It is not a big deal as it does come clean with some bleach cleaner and a sponge. I am happy overall. Note: I bought a sturdy stainless steel sink grid, not included, to protect the bottom from nicks and scratches (~$50), which I recommend. Can be used as a trivet or a cooling rack as well.. This sink is exactly as advertised. It is beautiful and seems to be good quality. It installed easily and it functions well. It was important to have the small side on the left with the garbage disposal where we prepare our meals and to have the larger side on the right beside the dishwasher and the dishes cupboard. This sink is perfect for our laundry room makeover we are doing! I wanted a fireclay smaller sink that I could soak clothes in or utilize as a prep area if we have people over. It’s deep, has the ability to sit on top of countertops or be under mounted and I love the wire rack that’s removable on the bottom! Love this sink. Very heavy, need to build out a brace to hold. Put into a 30inch sink cabinet, just fits.
