Got it for my moms apartment. It works great. Definitely for a small area. It blows out cool air right away. I would make sure to clean and keep up on cleaning the water tank and the rest of the unit. It starts getting worse after a week. It does the job and it is easy to move around because of the wheels. I've been using this evaporative cooler in 95 degree heat in our upstairs and it is keeping my small office cool by about a 10 degree drop, maybe more, especially when I fill the ice packs so it works great. It gets 4 stars instead of five because I specifically searched for the Gymax version and what came was a Costway version instead. I suspected they were the same, it likely doesn't matter. I spent about the same amount, $125 here for this one as I've seen Costways online elsewhere. Because the Gymax one costs more elsewhere, I was hoping it was a beefier version (even though they do look like the same unit). I now think they are the same unit, just branded differently. But it works! That's what matters. A few things: It's bigger than I imagined, but still fine. You also can't bring the water tank to the sink, you have to bring water to it because it is attached..
