Edit - We are 7 months into living in our renovated house and the bathtub is in our master and we use it daily. We opted for an L shaped shower curtain and it has worked well for us. We did have the contractors put foam under the bathtub for extra support even though the manufacturer instructions did not say to mud or anything underneath. It can feel a little flexible so I am glad we did the extra support. It's not terrible to step out of but I did put a chair in the bathroom for my mom when she used our shower so that she had support getting out of the slightly taller tub. Bought as a replacement tub for remodel, not a new build space. Actual tub is 18 of inch bigger than dimensions listed and also in the product packaging!!! We had to rip out our drywall and trim down studs to fit it in our replacement tub space 60 inch standard. Tub install directions are thorough explains putting thinsetmortar under tub. Finish is shiny. We bought the drain from Kingston brass, as other ones will not fit under it correctly we found. Can’t wait to have a bath!
