Exactly as pictured. I never use the opening for water, I just water plants. Watering in summer once a week, other times of year never worry about.

I bought two of these for my deck several years ago. They get LOTS of sun exposure and still look like new. I ended up buying another one for my front porch. Self-watering pots are a most for my home. I’m not the best at remembering to water plants and these give me some ability to keep plants alive while on vacation or in between my forgetfulness during the dry season.

Great quality and love that you don’t need to completely fill with dirt. Lightweight but sturdy.
