Let me begin by saying that I’m giving this fixture four stars because the instructions were not well done (written and diagram). There was one set of instructions for several different style of fixtures. This caused some major frustration and internal swearing (the verbalized swearing was minimal as there were children present). I’m not an electrician, but I’ve installed a couple of light fixtures before without a problem. With proper instructions, this would’ve been a snap. The light fixture itself is lovely! I wanted something simple and that’s exactly what this is. I really like how the cover screws into the fixture like screwing a lid onto a jar. So easy and no little screws on the outside to mess with. That helps to give it a nice, clean look. I have nothing negative to say about the fixture itself...it was those murky instructions.
