My only disappointment is that you really don't see the pretty curved feature at the top of this because it's so close to the ceiling. Nothing wrong with the fixture, but if that's the part of the fixture that attracts you to this, you'll be disappointed that you really can't see it from the floor. I've added a picture taken with me holding the camera as high as I can, so from a persons view, only the tips of the curved feature are ever seen.

I purchased this gorgeous alluvial light for the hallway leading into my bedroom. What a great way to dress up a drab hallway. The light mount so pretty and I'm pleased with the quality of the light.

I wanted something just a little bit different for my kitchen, and this seemed perfect. It's not a boring flush mount, but it doesn't draw attention to itself either. The only thing I don't really like is that the glass is sort of grayish (maybe that's in the description; I don't remember), and that makes the light less bright than it could be. Still, it provides plenty of light for a 12 x 17' space.
