Misleading with width. Very narrow after assembled.

Looks just as pictured. The space between bars are pretty wide so if you have a toy-sized dog or small puppy, they would able to get through. As someone else noted, there was a mistake in the instructions but it was easy to figure out. The outer layer of paint can chip easily (i.e., when putting the screws in the holes) but it's not noticeable once assembled.

Looks great. a few cautions....the white melamine material is very very thin so extreme caution necessary when assembling. A slip with the screw driver and a surface is easily ruined. Also the assembly instructions, or the parts labels, are incorrect - watch when putting the front sides together with the top piece (I think parts 1, 2, and 3). They the two side pieces need to be swapped - look at the drawing closely and you should be fine. And if you purchased for a large dog then do not install the divider - it doesn't look like it is easy to remove it without some major disassembly. I liked that there were about 20% more parts (pins, screws, and dowels) than needed to complete the job...gave me a nice small parts repair supply I was not expecting! Now that we have had this in the house for a month we have buyers remorse. This cage will not secure our 14 week lab/Shepard. She was able to break out easily through the side panels. I ended up having to totally retrofit this cage with larger screws and plastic tie wraps to secure the sides. Still trying to figure out how to secure the sliding doors and leave them operable - not much room for a nut and bolt which is what's needed. So a good looking piece of furniture but not capable of being the 'cage' as advertised...perhaps for a small purse dog. Really regretting this purchase.

My dog lives this cage !

This is best for dogs that go to their kennel to sleep. I have a small dog that would get excited and sprint out and broke the doors. I was ent a replacement, but the same thing happened. Probably best for lazy dogs.
