The site description is: “This pot planter is a delight for gardeners and decorators alike. Hand thrown and aged naturally over time in the elements, each piece is unique but all share a weathered aura and are imbued with nature's patina.” Their description is not in any way an element of this planter. The outside has a rough gray substance like soft plaster that rubs off. The outside is seriously rough and unstable looking. I would return the ugly thing, but they want nearly $15 for the FedEx return label.

This little pot is perfect for my succulents. I love the patina that it already had - it was a pleasant surprise!
