Very tasteful and excellent value

I was very disappointed in this item. It is merely a handkerchief piece of fabric. While pretty, it has no structure or stiffness, not even a little starch to make it function as a placemat. Would make a pretty napkin, but not what I expected for a placemat. Too pricey for just one piece of fabric that does not suit the intended purpose.

Love it! I needed a small table runner to protect a table top in a high traffic area. This placemat was the perfect size and the pattern matched an area rug in the same area. I appreciated being able to buy a single placemat, it did the job perfectly.

They're pretty, but flimsy. Very expensive for what you get.
