Modern update to what had been contractor-grade flush mount lights in bedrooms. The base is smaller than expected - and than the fixture it replaced requiring us to do some touch up painting to smooth things over and make it look right. Was concerned that as a single bulb fixture it wouldn't be bright enough, but was pleasantly surprised. We are using a soft white LED bulb and its great with the variegated glass.

If you want a basic flush light this will be perfect.

These lights were shorter (more shallow? closer to the ceiling?) than I imagined, but they have a simple clean design that I dig.
