Nice and sturdy and comfy night for my 6.4 hubby.

This is probably the most substantially built ironing board I ever purchased! It is heavy as another reviewer mentioned but that is a good thing because it is stable and will last a long time hopefully. It's very stylish looking too!

Finally a strong ironing board. I regretted giving away my Mom's old ironing board as I could never find one since as stable. This is it. Not sure I will use the rack attached and it us a bit heavy but, I have a strong man to whip it out when I need to iron. The resting spot on the pad to place your iron down is brilliant.

It's a heavy duty ironing board. Be forewarned that it's actually 19.5" wide when folded including the linen rack. I purchased this for a client and we are hanging it on the wall in a small laundry closet. We had room for the 18" wide board but not sure about the 19.5". I'll see when I take it to the apartment. I need the "T-foot" to hang it from the wall or I would have purchased one of the smaller Brabantia boards. If my clients had a larger laundry room, it would be great. I may have to return it, if it doesn't fit.

It is well worth the price. Our household is filled with people who are makers/crafters. And we need a really good ironing board for ironing large swaths of fabric. This is the best one we have ever had.
