Love the top of this fireplace!! It’s hollow but looks beautiful. We love the look of this fireplace even the original color looked nice. The other reviews are true the panels chip very easy at the corners but it wasn’t a problem for us bc we wanted a black fireplace. It’s kind of silly we bought this to paint it BUT we loved the look just not the color we wanted plus it was on sale and other black fireplaces were over 1500 dollars so we saved 800 with a little labor.

Everything is wrong with this fireplace! The casing around the Fireplace is too small for the fireplace insert !

Was hoping for a more realistic fake marble look but overall it suits the purpose. Love the color options for fire and inset
