It was exactly as shown in the picture and what I hoped for. The piece is now part of a plain memorial granite bench which otherwise would have no real flowers. The planter is the perfect size, large enough for multiple seasonal plants, yet small enough to allow visitors to sit (alongside fresh flowers and welcoming birds).
