I use it as an enclosure for my Russian tortoise and it is perfect!

DO NOT BUY this!! It cannot withstand the weight of soil and plants. My planter fell apart 3 weeks after I bought it. The bottom fell out and the wood was completely parched from being outside. I threw it away. Pitiful!!

It’s wonderful! It was suggested that it be sealed so we did so. Already filled with veggies and herbs!

I previously wrote a review on this product stating how much I liked it. It has been a month and things were fine until this morning. I woke to find the bottom collapsed and the plastic liner on one side almost on the ground. The box is poorly designed because they built the box with 3/4 inch wood and 1 inch screws. You would not know this without it falling apart. In order to salvage the planter we added 2x4 supports to the underside of the long ends of the frame and 3 2x4 cross member supports. We then layed a 3/4 inch piece of plywood over the supports, drilled several drainage holes in the plywood and refilled it with the plastic liner, 12 inches of potting soil and replanted my plants. Hope it works. Very disappointing!
