This light was a nightmare to install!! First it says it’s flush mount , the arms are in fact not flat to the ceiling but hang slightly down. So when you attempt to connect the arms to the base because you have to swivel it on you end up scraping your freshly painted ceiling. Then when you try to get the globe on it too must be swivelled so you end up with it turning the base and again scraping the ceiling even more! Then the globe won’t fit because the holes have not been drilled properly. The light is beautiful BUT it’s design for installation can stand improvement. Also it takes 2 people to install because it’s very heavy. The packaging was great and thank goodness my husband is extremely handy and able to fix the issues, including the scrapes on the ceiling.
