This product is a class act. It has all the parts that an electrician needs to properly install. The fixtures were very securely packaged in the shipping container. I think the boxes could have fallen off a truck and still remain undamaged. This is a contemporary design that fit my modern house perfectly. The fixture does come with tags that state that the maximum wattage of the bulbs should be 60 watts, not the 75 watts claimed on Wayfair specs. But one could install 100 watt bulbs if they were LED type. The base that goes against the ceiling is white and blends well with the white glass. The base is held against the electrical box with a single large center screw which is typical for many fixtures. After you tighten the screw as much as possible, there will still be 1/8 inch gap between the base and the ceiling. It will contrast with the white ceiling and white base and will be noticeable. It doesn't bother me. I can't see how it could have been designed much differently other than using stiffer metal in the base plate which would drive up the cost and possibly weigh too much to fasten to an electrical box. All in all, I am pleased with the installed look and how much care Wayfair took to pack into a shipping container.

Great shape and good output for a basic light. More modern looking installed.
