I tried to click on the 4th star to score 3.5. I bought two similar shelves at the same time. This was easy to assemble and had all parts needed. The other did not send enough screws but thanks to Wayfair customer service, they reached out to the manufacturer and a week later I received the needed screws. This is not fine lumber or very sturdy as the units are not attached to one another but I like it a lot. Not being attached allows more books or nick-knacks when slid as wide as possible. I would not recommend a favorite delicate tea cup display. I placed it on a tall dresser in the guest room. I love vacationing in rentals that offer a library of books for reading during ones stay. That is the theme I wanted to achieve. I could see this piece functioning in other rooms. Over the faucet in a powder room especially when painted. If would work under a sink to hold cleansers, hand towels and washcloths. In the kitchen, cookbooks or jars of teabags, honey, a sugar bowl and creamer plus your most used spices. A multifunctional piece. Another idea, when entertaining, remember entertaining if shelves are clean for food or covered with a doily or fabric, use it to display dessert. It would look great with cookies and individual pieces of chocolate.

I absolutely love this organizer. I spray painted it gold to go with my office and it works so well.

I love that you can move the pieces around to fit your space. The wood is sturdy and holds a lot of office supplies and knick knacks. Exactly as advertised and I am very happy with it!

I thought it would be thicker and sturdier but I will still use it.

Well made. Not the perfect color for my desk, but it is versatile.
