I love the Frank Lloyd Wright pattern and 100cotton. It compliments my mid Century decor and earlier pieces as well as contemporary couch . Colors are muted to avoid color clash with decor palette in furniture, walls and floors.

I really like how these placemats look on my white table top. I read the other review in regard to the colors being off. I don't think the colors are off from the product photos at all (black, white, yellow, green, blue), but naming it "yellow/brown" is definitely misleading. They should change the color option name to "yellow/black" or something. Size notes: description lists 17" x 13". Mine were 16.75" x 12.5" out of the package. After washing and drying there was minimal shrinkage, more vertically than horizontally. Post-wash dimensions are 16.5" x 11.5". They are not perfectly smooth after washing and drying due to being 100% cotton, but I was happy that they are not crazy wrinkly or curled up. I am not so picky as to feel the need to iron them.

The colour is off compared to what was I expecting from the picture. There’s no brown squares and the majority of the smaller ones are green, not yellow. And areas that appear blue are so dark they look black. I am a big fan of Frank Loyd Wright and still like them. Luckily the colour scheme can still work with what I was hoping for, but they weren’t what I was expecting and I don’t think as nice as the picture looks. They are nice quality cotton and soft. But three stars because of the colour variation.
