I loved these planters and they were amongst my favorite decor around the house outside. However, they do not hold up. The elements were causing the planters to chip and become brittle and powdery. So any time we had a storm we tried to move them into the garage. It was a nuissance, and though we could lift them they were heavy so we used a dolly. One morning we were caught off guard with a cloud burst and they were absolutely destroyed. They filled with water and the planters fractured and cracked in multiple places on almost every side. They flooded over the top and the dirt stained them from running down the sides. In their defense they had flooded and that is but even the rain had warped the paint and in other spots washed off the paint despite us applying both sealant and sun guard before they were used. We take into account the weather and it is on us but at the same time know they require extra care to get good use of them. We got four months because the three inches of rain in forty minutes was just too much. Everything else pulled through fine.. just not these. Even prior to the storm I didn't anticipate they would make it through the summer.

I love these planters. I am just planting them.

Received my new lightweight concrete Pot Planter and it's gorgeous!! What a great addition to my outdoor collection of beautiful flower pots! The price was fair and shipping was fast. The packing as well as the box it came in were all premium!! It is heavy and shouldn't be bothered by our micro-burst winds that plague some of our lighter pots! We have had a lot of complements on it and haven't ever got it planted yet!!
