Eddins Handmade Ceramic Pot Planter

Cute!!!

These are beautiful little planters, but I am disappointed because the 2.5" nursery pot size plants I had planned to place in them while still in those nursery pots, do not fit, even though I bought the Eddins pot size that is labeled 2.75" wide. I had assumed that this measurement referred to either the inside or outside diameter of the top, either of which would have been fine, but it doesn't. Perhaps this measurement refers to the inside diameter of the widest point of the pot, but the inside diameter of the tops of my new pots is only 2.25." It always surprises me that plant pot manufacturers do not consider the sizes of pots that plants are normally sold in, especially if these plant pots don't have holes in the bottom and so are not good candidates for direct planting into the decorative containers. (If you direct plant in a pot like this Eddins one, there is no outlet if you overwater and you are stuck with having a plant that is overwet for a long time and may rot.)

Absolutely love the honeycomb texture of this little pot. It is just so pretty. I drilled a hole in the bottom for drainage. The pothos I planted in it originally came in a 4" nursery pot.

Very cute. Plant is still rooting, but I think it will do well here.
