I purchased this light to replace track lighting in my son's basement gaming room for extra light and it definitely does that with the bright white bulbs! It doesn't hang quite as low as I thought it would and also is not quite as sturdy as thought, but it gets the job done. I do like the black and brass features as they bring a more classy, sophisticated look to the room. Overall a good purchase at this price point!
