A little small, and the base for the pot is needed but does not match the pot or the stand.

Much larger than I thought it was! Beautiful marbled finish on it. I love the sturdy legs on it, too. It will be a beautiful addition to my porch this spring, but for now, it will be beautiful inside and out of the cold weather.

I like that this planter looks mid century modern. Although the container is a little smaller then I expected, it’s heavy and fits in the room very nicely. The color is neutral and could go with most decors.

I like the colors and the pot is good quality. The stand is a little cheesy but is sturdy and does the job. I think that it’s a little pricey at about 130. That is why I gave it 4 stars. I am currently using it for a fake fern.

I think overall this planter is pretty great, and is so much more substantial than I thought it would be! Assembly is easy- just stacking the two wooden pieces where the notches are. One drawback is that it does not have any screws or anything to clamp it together. All this means is you must move it carefully – making sure to not grab the piece that is on top (because it will come away from the bottom and then the whole stand falls apart...I ended up using some twine to protect future me from screwing that up...again, see pics for an example of what that looks like, not too bad in my opinion...) other than that, when the pot is on the planter it feels sturdy. Another consideration- putting something underneath the planter...you need something to put under the pot if you want to leave the plug out for drainage (so it will not just drip onto the floor if overwatered). Ideally this would be something with a lip around 10.5 inches in diameter (which I discovered is a little smaller than my dinner plates...sigh, so, eventually I will go to the thrift store and find something appropriate). Overall recommend, but just keep in mind that you will probably need to make some modifications to make it excellent.
