Well, as soon as all this rain lets up I will start my plantings. I thought the planter, which is lovely , would have a distressed white patina finish...thus my 4 star review. Keeping it because it is still an attractive deck addition. The finish is actually metallic silver for those interested .

I love them. I have three on each railing coming into my house . Our house is a cape with a front porch They look lovely.

The planter was very thin metal and the decorative paint was off- and not in a charming way. We wanted to use this outdoor, but they didn't look like they would make it through a storm.

the planter is thinner metal than I thought it would be. bends very easily. Pros: good value Cons: doesnt hold shape very well

Has helped my curb appeal substantially. Love this item.
