I bought this for use as a salad bowl, and it is beautiful and substantial. Has a good weight to it (I was concerned it might feel tinny and light). Both interior and exterior are polished stainless steel. Hefty enough for family dinners, and elegant enough for entertaining or fine dining. Highly recommend.
