It's deceiving online because in real life you see the round metal socket housing above the fixture, which looks ridiculous. On the photos that they publish on wayfair, they're hiding this fact by showing you another angle.

This is such a unique light. It is very straightforward instructions to install. I think it would be easy to paint as well if you want to change the color, it has a medium texture. I’m using it in a transitional open plan living room and it will be an eye catcher!!
